Browsers & user agents

What is a User Agent? List the different user agents that access the World Wide Web. What is meant by user agent sniffing?
Standards

How many web standards have the W3C published, and which are widely supported by browsers and manufacturers today?

What case can you make for the use of web standards in business?
Validation

Run a few of the sites that you visit regularly through the W3C validator.
